The Parents and Citizens association, (P&C), work collaboratively with the school body to achieve the shared goal of providing a fun, nourishing, supportive and enriched learning environment that promotes the development of outstanding citizens who are creative, innovative, critical thinkers and can collaborate effectively. If you have any suggestions, comments or items to add to the agenda, you can email the P&C directly on : stmaryssouthpublicschool@pandcaffiliate.org.au The P&C is the place to contribute to school activities and have your ideas heard on how to raise money for our school, where we should focus our energies, and any other ideas to help our school improve and grow. The P&C organise and conduct fundraisers at Easter time, Mother's Day , Father's Day , and various activities throughout the year. We have helped the school with contributing to costs of classroom refurbishments, and project-based learning (PBL) resources. We would like to encourage everyone associated with St Marys South Public School to be involved with the P&C and in that way to further strengthen the community bonds in the school. There are lots of great ideas, so come along and become a member. Membership only costs $1, which entitles you to voting rights.

Dear Parents & Carers, We would like to invite all Grandparents / Special Friends to join us in celebrating 'Grandparents & Friends Morning" on Friday 25 October 2024. The morning will commence at 9:45am and will conclude approximately at 11:30am. Students will have the opportunity to read a story to their loved one, or complete an activity with them. You are invited to bring a picnic blanket and a chair to enjoy morning tea with your child. The canteen will be selling cakes, scones, tea and coffee, which will be PRE-ORDER ONLY via the school canteen SPRIGGY ordering App online. Further information will follow in Week 1, Term 4.

Year 6 will be holding a Zooper Dooper Fundraiser on 1st November. Students will be selling Zooper Doopers for $1 each. Please note that htis fundraiser is CASH ONLY.
